Committee Leaders

Ms. Anonymous is a Bahraini-American and an organizing force behind the Bahrain Coordinating Committee, but for security reasons, remains anonymous.  Born in Bahrain, she attended a university in the United States and now lives and works in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Husain Abdulla is the director of Americans for Democracy and Human Rights in Bahrain.  He works with U.S. congressional members on policy decisions regarding the pro-democracy movement in Bahrain.

Abdulla was the leading force in founding the first ever Bahraini-American organization advocating for sensible US foreign policy regarding Bahrain, with emphases on democracy and human rights, in addition to security and military issues.

Abdulla has been instrumental in arranging interviews with Bahraini activists and congressional members and the media.

He graduated with a Bachelors degree from University of South Alabama in Political Science and Mathematics.  He also received his Masters degree from University of West Florida in Political Science.

Abdulla is an American citizen who is originally from Bahrain.  He lives in Mobile, Alabama, and frequently visits Washington, DC for his work on behalf of Bahrain.
